80 Free Fine Liner Procreate Brushes

A narrow contour can stay crisp while nearby shadows build through dots and hatching. Fine Liners brings those drawing tasks together in Procreate, with steady technical pens, textured nibs and more expressive pressure responses for botanical studies, sketchbook drawings and ink illustrations.

The 80 brushes are arranged in six families: 16 technical and organic liners, 12 expressive pens, 12 stippling brushes, 16 hatching brushes, 12 decorative strokes and 12 pattern brushes. Use the family sheets in the gallery to compare individual marks. Brush size controls their scale, while pressure behavior varies by preset. An Apple Pencil that supports pressure is needed for pressure-sensitive effects.

Nine paper backgrounds accompany the brushes as 4096 x 4096 px JPEGs. Smooth drawing paper, visible fibers, laid lines, rough grain and creased surfaces give you different backgrounds for the same ink drawing. Import a paper onto a layer beneath your artwork. These are square background images, not seamless tiles or Procreate canvases.

Choose the complete .brushset or the six smaller family sets when importing. Both options contain the same 80 brushes, so installing both creates duplicates. The ZIP also includes a brush list, import instructions and License.txt. The brushes require Procreate on iPad. Photoshop brush presets are not included.
